AFS Hong Kong is an independent and locally-registered charitable organization. While maintaining a close ties with the international branches, it also needs the help of local staff and volunteers to carry out various programmes. Local and overseas AFS volunteers all play a key role in the programmes’ implementation, as ASF needs their support and participation for its exchange programmes, services and various activities.

The chairperson and members are all renowned dignitaries, who assist our strategic development and overall decision-making on a voluntary basis;
Staff:
There are eight full-time staff members who are responsible for the administrative planning and daily operation of various programs and activities;
Local and Overseas Volunteers:
There are close to 300 local volunteers, including AFS alumni, parents and receiving families, who take part in the recruitment, selection and support for AFS exchange programs; powerful community links and opportunities for young people to participate.
