AFS Intercultural Exchanges is now urgently recruiting Hong Kong families who can host exchange students aged 15-18 years old. These students from countries as diverse as Brazil, Italy, Hungary, Switzerland, Austria and Czech are due to arrive very soon but some are still looking for host families for their intercultural experience in Hong Kong. Students participate on AFS are eager to learn Chinese culture and to relate to people different from themselves. They attend local schools and involve in community service programs.
AFS students are neither tourists nor guests – they are a member of the host family. They are more than happy to share a bunk bed as long as you can provide the love and support that these teenagers need. AFS provides school tuition and transportation fees and host families are required to provide meals and accommodation.
