As for the experiential exchange programs for teachers and teaching professionals with substantial experience, they are aimed at equipping the participants with knowledge of international development trends through overseas field training or special educational projects. Participants can make good use of their professional skills in the community by sharing their knowledge with overseas colleagues.
It is a one-year exchange program, which generally accepts applicants aged 21 or above with at least three years’ teaching experience. AFS is responsible for planning the itinerary of the exchange programs and arranging follow-ups by professional instructors, with a view to extending the spirit of international exchange, and creating a more enlightening life experience for the participants.
Program for Year 09-10
Participants will have the opportunity to observe the overseas teaching model and work with local teachers, as well as teach Chinese and promote Chinese culture.
They will also be organized to live with local receiving families to gain an in-depth understanding of the local life and culture, as well as promoting international friendships and broadening their perspective and mindset through language, learning and social exchanges.
