What skills will I gain?

Global Citizen? International Ambassador? That’s you! You’ll become part of an international network of “AFS ambassadors” representing your country and culture. You become a confident and competent global citizen and understand the world you live in much better. You gain outlook, maturity and self confidence as you step out of your comfort zone and learn about the real world from an international perspective.

Is it for me?

AFS Community Service program is for 18-29 year olds who have or are about to finish high school. It’s for young adults after an authentic overseas experience but prefer work experience.

It’s an excellent opportunity for those would like to add international work experience to their resume and gain intensive Intercultural experience.

Where are the countries?

The program offer participant to Brazil or China in Year 2009-10.

What is the fee and what does it include?

Brazil Program: HK$ 35,000 (not include air ticket)
China Program: HK$ 32,000 (not include air ticket)

All fees include medical costs, AFS orientation activitie, program materials, food and lodging are provided by voluntary host family.
